You're crazy. You don't beat Dawson with no skill. Yes, he does have handspeed and power, but he has a very good boxing IQ. He was doing exactly what he should have been doing against Dawson. He fought a brilliant strategic fight.
Of course hes gonna say that ****atsch How long you been watching boxing? This **** has been said a zillion times by fighters running out of gas and in trouble.
Dawson was a fool went into Pascals backyard and fought like a ******! Was a good fight you could tell Pascal was concerned by Dawson power and out worked Dawson. Man can Pascal take a punch when Dawson hit him with that upper cut I thought he was gone and why the f0uk didnt Chad jump on his ass? The headbutt was NOT intentional - stupid idiots saying it was!
Not even!!!! He had Pascal out and shouldve never stopped throwing. That left uppercut had Pascal frozen and Chad just looked at him. ****ing disgusting. This had nothing to do with fighting safe or not looking for a KO this was just a fighter not doing anything. Where was the jab? Where was the left? the right hook? He threw each ****in punch once and then just chased Pascal around the ring. Then Pascal would faint and then Dawson would run around the ring.
Chad has no one else to blame, Pascal fought a good tactical fight early, won the fight with barrages while having mixed results some of em blocked, some of em effective. Dawson waited way to late to pull the trigger and while he had pascal hurt I didnt see pascal going down, but who knows, BCD was taking over. however, on the judges card he needed a KO either way. Could he have got it? Maybe, but it is what it is and it ended on a heabutt, no excuses, Pascal deserved the win based on what we saw tonight.
I;ll say this though, pascal did lead with the head on more than one occasion. i saw 2 blatant attempts earlier in the fight, while i didnt see this headbutt as blatant. Chad did low blow pascal as well, pascal did hold and hit a few times. hey thats boxing people are gonna foul. No excuse for chads poor performance.
I wouldnt question any fighter's heart or will, but he does seem to lack that killer instinct. Dont know if he saw what we did, but to me, he was clearly the superior fighter, who let the other guy steal rounds while he himself sat back and did nothing to take them. Seems to me that he could have taken Pascal out at any point if he had decided to let his hands go and attack the guy rather than chasing him for the most part while pawing with the jab, and once and a while throwing a combo. Props to Pascal, he seemed to want it more and it showed.
****. I believe this is exactly what he was tryin to do. Pascal was throwin those huge shots, and he was usin his legs to propell him there. He was tired, no doubt. And he needed to play defense for a moment, but I doubt he expected Chad to go off the way he did, but he still did a good job absorbing the punches, and I know he would have turned it on at the end of the round, and we might have seen a tired ass Chad, since while YES Chad has great conditioning, he's not damn SUPERMAN, get put down. Ya'll tryin to talk all this bull**** and diminish Chad's win are doin just that, talkin bull****. I told ya'll before about Chad's refusal to put it on. And it cost him this time, but to his credit, Pascal had some serious skills and speed. And for your comment about me not knownin boxing. ****, when have I been wrong? Answer that ****.
He may have been running out of gas abit, but i didnt see him in any kind of trouble. Also, he's had this same strategy in other fights in earlier rounds looking for the big counter shot.
