I think a big reason for it was, Froch actually controlled a lot of his fight with Pascal with his jab, and for whatever reason Chad wasn't. He would do some upper body movements, posture, stare, and not throw a jab or anything and Pascal would move out of the way.
Because Froch is not afraid to get tagged. Dawson was panicking when he was in trouble, Froch just uses his chin as defense to fight back:smoke CAN'T WAIT FOR AA VS FROCH!!!!!!!:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy
Also, against Froch, I believe this was Pascal's last fight at 168, maybe he was weight drained. In any event...Froch legacy went up tonight:smoke
That's because Pascal chose to stay in the pocket and trade with Froch almost the entire fight. Pascal moved and flurried to score all night long against Dawson. Two different strategies and two different outcomes. Pascal is much better suited for 175lbs. Just look how big he was in there.
Pascal is a better fighter I believe. Plus, Dawson could have fought better. When he opened up on occasions and in that last round, Pascal couldn't do nothing. Froch is also an underrated boxer. I thought he was garbage at first but seeing him a bit more, he's better boxer than he looks.
But Pascal was at least even or getting the better of Froch when he stood and traded with him! Ir you remember the fight it was superior boxing from Froch in the later rounds that eventually won him the fight in establishing the jab and being a bit more careful in his approach.
Because he was stupidly, obviously consumed by the idea that he's PBF. The dumbass really thought he was gonna' win a close, defense-oriented decision in Pascal's town. ****ing idiot.
Pascal's gotten better since then, but you're exactly right. If there's one thing Froch does, it's fight with heart and urgency. The hungrier man won tonight. If Chad wanted to win as much as he wanted to make excuses, we could've seen a different outcome.
