Not really imo. Dawson didn't let his hands go enough throughout the WHOLE fight. I think Pascal would've gotten in and out with flurries and won the last rounds anyways. You can't lie you were overexaggerating about the Taylor-Froch comparison. Yes Pascal was hurt but it wasn't THAT bad and he recovered fast.
Lol. That is the funniest post I've read on ESB for a long time. I'm not going to speculate whether Pascal was going to get KO'd or not. Who know's. As you say, he does have great ability to recover. But he was BADLY hurt. That uppercut stiffened him up. Surely you've seen this in boxing before? A big shot lands and the fighter stiffens up like they can't move their feet. It is very common in KDs. He certainly didn't stand there and stare at Dawson like it was nothing. He was stunned, coulnt move his legs and took every ounce of his heart and recovering ability to stay upright. To say that He stared like nothing happened is just ****ing absurd.
I'm not lying. Pascal was winning the fight but i swear he was hurt so bad that he was an inch or a little bit more away from being stopped. Man this what i hate when head clash occur cause there would be many "if" in alot of sentence but there's a reason for it.
Dude, Pascal is black but he's canadian. Notice every black fighters that farmboxer bashed on is always on black AMERICAN FIGHTER!!!!!!!
**** it. Bring it on. Worse things have happened in boxing. If bute PAscal doesn't get made and this fight does I'm not going to be disapointed.
Chad is not known as a good finisher and Pascal still recovered whereas Taylor was in a much worse state hell even Floyd in the second round of the Mosley was worse than Pascal you're overexaggerating. Pascal was fine. No "ifs" on who the winner was in Pascal/Dawson.
Why is it that whenever a good fighter loses one people always knock him rather than praise the victor. these forums are so full of negativity and complaints.
If you think about it simply as who was winnig the fight when it got stopped not many people would disagree with pascal by UD. Howmany people would have believed that before the fight. P.s. thank for the american/Dawson fans that have not been protesting the descision to stop the fight. I have seen many threads and not many have cried foul. I thought when it got stopped that many American's or Dawson fans would simply cry foul that a home town ref was protecting the home town fighter when the call was made to stop the fight. But this isn't the case. Fair play to all you whom aren't questioning the doctor. It would be easy to do so. I believe the stoppage was warrented and I commend you whom want to keep the debate to whether or not dawson would have knocked out Pascal in the last round if the fight was allowed to continue. This where the debate ote to be.
Exactly. It used to be that people didn't believe a fighter was complete or as good as he could be until he'd lost. Dawson came on to the scene as a young 24 yr old with a lot of talent. He's gotten complacent since then. Hopefully this lose has taught him something about himself and what is needed to be a champion.
Not me. I thought a decision favored Dawson as many did. I am a Dawson fan but also a Pascal fan too. The better man won. Pascal did good placing his punches and doing flurries at the right time. Personally, I thought he would've won the 12th.
Hardly anyone was giving Pascal any chance to beat Dawson. Dawson and Shaw took the fight for granted. However, I think Pascal might do even better in the rematch.
