Following his upset decision loss to WBC/IBO light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (26-1, 16KOs) at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, previously undefeated Chad Dawson said he was not worried because there was a rematch clause in the fight contract. :deal.................YOU NEED TO WORRY DAWSON,JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A REMATCH CLAUSE DOESN'T MEAN THAT THE SECOND TIME AROUND THE OUTCOME WILL BE IN YOUR FAVOR.... YOU MIGHT LOSE WORST NEXT TIME.
Why would he do that? There should be a rematch cause the head clash ruined everything with the "if" factor in which i thought "if" there was no clash of heads, Dawson would have won it by tko.
And it's not like the rematch clause is right away cause it isn't in which Pascal can fight Bute next before his rematch with Dawson.
It was Alfred E. Newman who said; "What me worry?" If Bute beats Pascal, and Pascal has an immediate rematch clause, Dawson will be out of luck.
Pascal beat him pretty decisively, not like there needs to be a rematch. Tarver-Dawson 1 shouldn't have had a rematch either.
You can't compare that fight to Pascal vs Dawson. There was no "if" factor in Dawson vs Tarver in the first fight.
Still the same problem lol. He gave away rounds and did the same against Pascal. Not saying Pascal didn't fight for them just saying like in Tarver 1, Dawson didn't step on the gas pedal.
Yea, there should be a rematch. It was a good fight, and there is that "what if..." It's really the same as Dirrell-Abraham. Abe gave away a lot of rounds, and then finally stepped it up, KD Dirrell, but then he hit Dirrell while he was down. I would love to see a rematch for both fights in the near future.
You know what? If you constantly can't stop on the gas pedel you have to wonder if there is a pedel to be stepped on.
YEAY, glad we can take Dawson off the p4p lists and give that spot to somebody that really deserves it..... talk about hype and being exposed!?.... Sorry if sounds a bit hateful but this guy was being massively hyped by boxing journalists all around..
