Kessler won the fight for me. It was very close, and I wouldn't have argued too much if Froch nicked it.

As for Froch - AA, people have to remember that AA has done absolutely **** all at SMW so far. He relied on a last round KO to beat a shot to **** Taylor, and then was pretty much schooled by Dirrell. Froch on the other hand has beaten a little less shot Taylor, Dirrell, Pascal who just beat Dawson and narrowly lost to Kessler. For me, if Froch beats AA, he has the best resume at 168 by a mile.

Froch beats AA for me. Both men hit the floor en route tho.

i showed the fight at a retirement center, yeah sure their hearing isnt that good, neither is their vision.

nonetheless, this retirement home is filled with firefighters, cab drivers and sanitations workers, which history has shown to have a big part in pro boxing, they all had it a it clearly for kessle.

those who disagree, especially brits, please stay out of my thread.

You and your grand father wouldn't happen to be from the UK?

Noone outside of the UK saw froch winning that fight.

The poll on ESB was 419 - 38 for Kessler winning. The conclusion: there are 38 disturbed UK fans on ESB who don't know how to score a fight! Thankfully most UK fans even saw Kessler winning.

    Close this thread.

Glad to see that many brits don't just look at the flag to judge a fight (like the OP).

I'm a Brit and I thought it was a draw. No surprise (or robbery) for Kessler to get the decision on home turf.

Kessler's right hand to the body kept him in the fight. He'll need to bring his headshot accuracy back to peak levels (Andrade and Calzaghe fights) to win the tournament

Excellent fight from which both boxers come out with a lot of credit, kessler won by two rounds for me. Agree with the statement that if the fight was in Nottingham Froch could have got the nod or the draw.

I had Kessler winning that fight. He was smashing Froch's ribs for half the fight and Froch didn't adjust to stop it. If AA decides to go to the body like that CF will be in for a long night.

abraham does not have the reach to do so.

froch is a white chimpanse, his arms are long as hell.

even the athletic gifted trio of pascal, taylor and direll couldnt deal with the reach and unorhtodox style. kessler strugled with it aswell and those chimpanse arms are going to trouble abraham too.

Kessler won, Froch lost the fight, he should have pressed more, he let his foot off the gas and it cost him

I had it close decision to Froch. He could have pressed more, when he had the chance, he didnt make the decision a certainly for him.

Im a froch fan boy but even I knew Kessler won that fight, it was brilliant and definitely close but froch lost, he gave away quite a few rounds cheaply.

Kessler backed Froch up nearly the entire fight, and that's not Froch's preferred style. What really kept this being a close fight was Kessler's hesitation to throw his punches -(a sign a fighter's past it).

We've seen Froch rocked a number of times, while Abraham never. Froch is going to sleep on Oct 2nd.
