:rofl I know bro! What can I say......I must have forgot some how. I'm usually good with remembering anything about this sport but I have to admit I haven't see most of Sevn or Mundine fights being that they are from Germany and Austrailia respectively.

Joe has nothing to prove anymore, unfortunately for the fans, the timing is perfect for him to retire, and he knows that.

But you can feel from this words that he still loves boxing and is not sure he will be able to stay away from the ring just yet.

Anyway, with Pavlik out of the picture and rematches not so enticing, the only good option left is Dawson.

Dawson is a real challenge to Joe, he is long, hungry and young, not proven enough yet, but should have a winning career that will add to Joe's legacy. If he could somehow find a way to land an unification fight with Diaconu, Erdei or Garay next, it could spice up the mood for this fight next summer.

exactly. the old man dawson beat knocked out the old man he just beat and he's calling that the biggest win of his career. and btw i think roy looked like **** in that fight. it was hard to watch but like an idiot i paid for it so i sat there and watched it. i just wished that joe would've finished jones off around tha 7th round instead of beat and taunt jones all the way to the end.

He's probably right. But I wonder at what stage of his long a padded career Joe considered himself to have 'proven himself' :huh:huh This is why he irritates me. Talks utter garbage.

Dawson has wins over two men that I believe were ranked #2 and #4 by the Ring magazine when he fought them. If he's not worthy enough then I don't know who is.

Hang on, maybe Calzaghe's simply above fighting human beings and now wants to move on to other species. a kangaroo perhaps? or maybe an orangutan?

You're a ****ing moron and a Diaconu nuthugger. Pavlik is more proven than Dawson? If you think so than you have poor judgment on a fighter, just admit it you're a Dawson hater, and please STFU.

No one knows who Diaconu is outside fight fans. The media doesn't know about him, and no one is saying Dawson is ducking Diaconu other than you and your Romanian fans. I don't know why you constantly discredit Dawson. So GTFO of here.

No. He beat a 39 year old who was less shot!:good

The Jones that fought Calzaghe would have very likely beaten the Tarver that lost to Dawson.

Calzaghe was 100% correct on Dawson. And he would have blown Dawson apart had they fought.

Rubbish, it's a well known fact that Calzaghe retired to duck Pascal.
