Who's gonna man up & admit they misjudged Pascal?

to be fair the "pascal is crap" stuff imo stemms from froch beating him , people just dont wanna give froch his props

 

I did, bigtime. I thought Chad was gonna absolutely embarrass him. Props to Pascal, he's a hell of a boxer with a ton of heart.

 

It's not so much that people misjudged Pascal... it's more that many here misjudged Dawson - BIGTIME!

 

Pascal showed me nothing ,if Chad was in shape the way he used to be this fight would have been over by the 6 round....he had so many opportunities to throw the straight left hand and never did it...and then in the late rounds he finally found out that Pascal can be hit easy with the left upper cut....Pascal is still a BUM!!!!

 

I'll admit to have never payed much or any attention to him.
I never counted him out tho, **** happens when fighter's square off.

Great win.

 

Saying you think Dawson would win a rematch is fair enough, calling Pascal a bum is ignorant.

 

Pascal is Pascal & looked exactly the same as he does in every fight. There is no difference between the 168 Pascal & the 175 Pascal. He is what he is. A frontrunner. He's a solid four round fighter. Kinda like a Zab Judah. He's the type of guy Top fighters should beat. I've never been big on Dawson, but he should have beat Pascal. Athletes have off nights. Boxing isn't a team sport like basketball where if a player's shot is off, they can get sub. It just shows how hard it is to stay undefeated. Everyone loses.

 

Feeling at this stage that I misjudged Dawson more than Pascal.

I never called Pascal a bum though, but I did think Dawson would have the tools to beat him fairly comfortably.

 

I disagree somewhat. Pascal has improved a fair bit since he fought Froch (at 168lbs). 175 lbs also suits him much more. The fact that he's sorted his shoulder is also a big bonus. Saying that, he wasn't a completely different fighter. He was just a better fighter than he used to be when he was fighting at 168lbs.

 

I'm a fan of Pascal, but I thought Dawson would win a pretty clear cut decision last night and said as much in any of the pre-fight prediction threads. Pascal was a little sharper than I expected, and Dawson disappointed me in that I thought fighting a prime, young fighter would bring out some aggression from Chad. I wasn't expecting to see him being content with coasting and losing.

You are an idiot give the guy credit for **** sake, Dawson didnt get screwed, he fought nowhere near as good as he could have and got beaten by the better man on the night.
