I guess the Myth that Froch cant box should be put to rest.

Pascal's victory Sat should add to the obvious evidence that even though Froch doesnt look fluid in his movements the mother****er can box.

He has been in there with enough world class opponents held his own and kicked ass

I suggest revisiting the Froch vs Pascal scrap. I dont want to hear any weight drain bull**** either.

Froch moves arent graceful but he has been boxing since he was nine. THE MAN CAN BOX!

He can, it's just in his nature to slug. I felt he was outboxing Kessler in the early rounds and being more effective with his jab than Kessler was

At the end of the day boxing is a fight. And in a fight there are many intangibles and different types of strengths aside from "boxing 101 content" that make a fighter who or what he is in the ring. Froch is a hard son of a ***** and Pascal didn't like how the fight was going.

Don't look too much into this. Chad Dawson had an absolutely terrible performance imo. I don't know what his problem was.

Froch being able to box or not is seen from HIS performances not others

i am a big fan of both froch and pascal. but i do feel the reason froch was so comfortable in the 2nd half is because pascal had tired. wether this was from nerves or weight drain i dunno. froch deserves a lot of respect for that victory, but he should have been given it anyways.

I felt he beat Kessler but the way the Pastries seconds ran in when the bell sounded in such a close one let me know Froch was going to get ****ed.

Pascal was his problem. That's the whole story, whatever Dawson wants to use as an excuse.

I agree but you still have to have boxing ability to tangle at the elite level. Your Skill at that level may not be be what gets you through as intangibles mean a lot but boxing fundmentals and skills have to be thouroughly mastered to competre at that level. The posters around here overrate the **** out of skill sets and seldom see the value of intangibles

You have to have the skill but the will must be stronger than the skill.

i saw it on itv haha. in that fight froch got off to a great start and hurt pascal early so he had pascals respect most of the night. it was comfortable win yes. in a rematch at 175, i say its a toss up.

Who were Pascal's big wins before he fought Froch? Omar Pitman? Kingsley Ikeke? Darnell Boone?

Pascal is a better, more experienced, more seasoned fighter than he was when he fought Froch. In addition, the move up in weight was obviously the right thing to do. Pascal/Froch at 175, today, woud probably result in Froch getting sparked.
