pascal won rounds when he only landed like 5 punches but because the crowd screamed everytime he threw a punch it was that much easier for the judges imo....cant wait to see the rematch tho

Pascal has come a long way since the day journeyman Omar Pitman made him do a chicken dance.

I think the Pascal/Dawson fight is a case where a lot of us over rated one guy a bit, and under rated the other.

I picked Dawson to win a UD, but I also said Dawson has some bad habits that might cost him the fight.

Your right, but when Vegas give odds like 4/1 for Dawson, its hard even to a fan of Pascal as myself to go against that.

I definitely misjudged him. He's a good fighter who proved he really wants it in that fight. There was no hometown NOTHING in this fight, not for a single moment. The referee was very fair despite being an unknown and everything was just good. It definitely wasn't any of the fiasco comics you see in England for local fighters where MMA and boxing rules are allowed for the local fighter and Olympic boxing rules apply to the foreigner. Pascal just proved whoever overlooked him wrong and got the job done like a real hungry fighter would.

If Dawson wasn't in shape, which is pure bull****, then Dawson is the fool. He always wanted fights that would generate attention and he got a lot of attention going into this one so if he overlooked it then he overlooked what he always begged for and deserves the loss. Just give Pascal credit please and enough of the nonsense.

I'll put my name I was convince this would be a mismatch of epic proportion... and I hate that chad is finding excuses and crying like a ***** when he should of notice he was in a championship fight sooner.

I have always been a fan of pascal, so I never said he was **** like some of these fools are. But I did think Pascal would get beat down, perhaps even stopped. I know most will say "he was close to getting stopped" but I highly doubt he would have been. Pascal has taken punishment against Froch and was hit hard by Diaconu and never went down

I think that Dawson and his team looked past Pascal with all the Bute and conquering french Canada talk.
