    Calzaghe is right about Dawson.

    You are right about Calzaghe.

Joe talked a lot of smack, and then ran like a frightened school girl.

Dawson hasn't proven anything that Joe hasn't yet. Maybe if Dawson gets another title, that will be something Calzaghe has never done, bounce back from a loss because he never lost.

But both have beaten old men, Dawson rematched both old men he fought. But to Calzaghe's worth, Calzaghe beat two prime fighters that many pegged to clock his head off, one of them still a worthwhile top contender even if he's slowed down now. He also fought the superior old man in Bhop.

BHop was the one who punked off on their first negotiations. RJJ admitted in 24/7 that the Calzaghe fight never came off because Calzaghe was never a name when they were in their primes.

Calzaghe would've always run in your eyes and you would never have given him whatever. If Calzaghe beat Dawson before, next thing would be that you'd tell him he ducked a power puncher like Tavoris Cloud. And then what, another title holder. And another.

The man was 37 when he retired. And the old men he fought, he was very close to in age.

You guys may hate him, but just keep your objectivity intact please. You're making yourselves look childish.

Calzaghe had the chance to fight both when they were undefeated and he didn't. A true champion talks in the ring. If he had both Pav and Dawson on his resume, it would be very difficult to question his greatness.
