    So with this logic .....

That must mean you have an infinite ammount of respect for Andre Ward.....

He schooled the guy who handed Froch his first loss. :deal

Dawson is still a top 15 or so p4p fighter

I'd still rank Dawson above Froch, p4p

To be honest he does deserve more credit, his poor defense does make for a more exciting fight in some fights although people do like to look at a skilled defensive fighter. He`s got to tighten up for the Abraham clash.

that wasnt the question, before the weekend where did you rate froch p4p? i bet it was nowhere near 3 was it? and yet chad does get number 3 because?........he filled the exact same criteria as froch but holds an american passport not a british one

The thing about calzaghe was that he did not want to travel outside of the UK for big fights, i have no problem with this as lots of fighters are like this, but on top of that he had belt holders like ottke who wouldnt take the risks either and who blatently ducked calzaghe, but unfortunately he held belts and this type of situation made it very difficult to unify the division until kessler and lacy got hold of the belts some years later. Fair play to lacy, he gets a lot of stick but he travelled to calzaghes backyard to try to unify and look where it got him, dominated then injured then obscurity, there are lots of risks involved and some fighters just wont take the really big ones

I think Froch's willingness to fight the best is fantastic, and in sharp contrast to what Calzaghe used to do. I think Froch's fights are generally entertaining and I'll always tune in - for those reasons, I respect him.

What I strongly dislike about Froch is how deluded he is, about his own abilities (put your hands up, you're not Roy Jones) and the results of a couple of his fights. Some of the utter shite he talked in the aftermath of Dirrell/Kessler was ridiculous.

    Froch is garbage.

I think Pascal was weight drained when he fought Froch, and I think Dawson wasnt mentally in the fight against Pascal.

If Dawson fights like he fought the later rounds he wins by stoppage.
