Carl "The Cobra" Froch vs a prime Jeff "left hook" Lacy (Before facing Calzaghe)

Lacy is very underated. His resume isnt bad either with Tsypko, Vanderpool, Sheika, Reid, Pemberton and Manfredo. Lacy was fed to Calzaghe too quickly and should have been given more time to develop.
Lacys resume isnt as good as Frochs but before facing Calzaghe, other than a tough fight against Sheika hadnt really struggled too much whilst Froch looked a bit lucky to some against Adamu and Dirrell (I thought Froch won both).
I would favour pre Calzaghe Lacy to outpoint Froch in a very tough physical fight where Froch hurts Lacy, but Lacy survives and wins. Consider how Lacy looked before Joe ruined him and think of how prime Froch was looking against Taylor getting put down and beaten most of the rounds, shot Lacy didnt look much worse against the same version of Taylor even being denied a KD

that is a ****ing bull**** excuse. pascal was never weight drained, he decided to move up after being bested by froch because it would have been unlikely of him coming out on top of that division. also why would he be better off against people who weigh more come fight night and hit harder because of it. MONGOLOID.

Lacy defined what a hypejob really meant. Even before fighting Joe, Lacy looked like **** in alot of his victories.

I've actually started to like Froch. He has a true warrior spirit, typical british arrogance(funny to me), and is fairly skilled despite his at times awkward style.

Froch along with Dirrell are improving at quite an impressive rate as compared to everyone else.

I'm even beginning to lean towards a Froch upset against AA.

If you have then you know damn well that Lacy wouldn't be able to keep a fight with Froch competitive.

Christsakes you're acting like Lacy was Bruce Lee before Calzaghe. He wasnt. If anything Lacy was a less than average fighter with above average power. Plain and simple.

I've watched all of Lacys televised fights(quite a few). Despite Lacys early success there were few occasions where you could say "Damn Lacy looks good!"

In many of Lacys fights he would get outboxed and beaten up. Then out of nowhere Lacy would drop a bomb. Emphatic win no doubt. But it really just told us that Lacy had power and nothing else.
