They had Dawson as p4p No 3 and Williams at p4p4 No 4, FFS!

why? just cause Dawson lost a close fight to Pascal? so ****in what? Pascal was a live underdog in that fight and just cause a top p4p fighter takes on a tough challenge and loses doesn't mean that he had absolutely no business on the p4p list.

Any of the top 10 guys could lose to an underdog, that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be on there.

people are so ****ing traumatized when a fighter loses a fight.

Cunningham and Maidana are nowhere near P4P top 10 right now, which is why you don't see them in anyone's list. Maidana is one-dimensional and Cunningham didn't look very good against Ross.

Montiel, sure he arguably belongs and some have him in there. Lopez is included in some lists as well. Personally, he is less than a year removed from the Mtagwa fight and I would like to see him beat Rafa Marquez convincingly before I give him consideration for my list.

The whole concept is flawed. How can the vote of a good, honest analyst count for as much as that of a newb who is biased towards certain fighters?

Ok, whats a better system? Clearly bias posts won't be counted.

The **** they aren't! Didn't you count posts from fanboys who had Dawson at p4p No3 and Williams at p4p No 4??

A better system would only take into account the views of good, honest, objective analysts. The trouble is that there's few of those and, with all due respect, you are not the best person to decide who those are.

It's not because he lost to Pascal. It's because of the level of his performance in that fight, given that of his opponent. Pascal put in a B to B+ performance. For 10 rounds, Dawson performed at a tick below that. Are you telling me that one of the best 3 fighters in the world would perform worse than an opponent who performed at B to B+ level and still count that as a good performance, like Dawson did?

I am ****ing traumatised that Dawson won? You must be having a laugh there, pal. I've been one of the most dogged critics of Dawson on this site. I am very happy he lost. Cannot stand the guy. Very happy for Pascal. But facts are facts.

Dawson underperformed against Pascal, but he sure as hell wasn't a top p4p fighter to start off with.
