But Adamek is unbeaten at CW, while Cunningham lost twice...

Cunningham fought better opposition and Adamek was only at CW for a few fights. Mayweather is unbeaten at LMW, nobody rates him as one of the best there.

Seriously the Enzo win is meaningless and he didn't make a single title defense, just the unification with Enzo.

Erdei at 178lbs beat Fragomeni too.

Brick i respect you but how in the hell can you have Haye beating Jirov H2H?

    Jirov

    - Top notch boxer (when he wants to be) and much better than Haye
    - Southpaw with similar power (both fists) and more than enough to put Haye in a coma or break him in half to the body
    - very solid chin

Haye can't outbox him and if he fought Jirov Jirov would steal his soul. How do you envision Haye winning..?

Thats true that Adamek wasnt in CW too long. Cunningham (if I remeber correctly) beat 5 title holders at CW, thats impressive. However you can rank Adamek H2H very high (at CW). And IF he has success at HW, then it only will prove how great fighter at CW he could have been. To be honest I wasnt happy when he went to HW, because he had much easier way to success there where he was. But TBH he does pretty well at more than 200lbs.

I agree and I do rank him highly at CW but not higher than Cunningham because he didnt have a lot of fights there. No doubt I would put him right up there if he had a few more fights against decent opposition:good

Adamek beating Cunningham is better than any single win Haye has, but let's not forget how close that fight was. Adamek only fought a handful of times at the weight, and his next best wun was over a shot Bell. Haye's record on the whole is better, with his best wins probably being stoppages of Mormeck (who beat Bell) and Fragomeni. Adamek's win was great, but Haye achieved a lot more at the weight.

BTW, why are people rating Qawi so high? He lost nearly all of his big fights at the weight.

Adamek at CW: 7 fights, 7 wins (5KO)

Cunningham - on of the best CW ever. One of the best single wins at cruiser.

Bell - past prime but one of the best punchers at CW in history, former lineal champ. adamek fought him in just 3rd fight as a cruiserweight.

Gomez - journeyman recently D with heavyweight Mike Mollo

    Gunn - journeyman

Banks - medicore fighter but is able to KO heavyweights with his power. adamek fought him only 2 months after Cunningham.

    Jalusic - journeyman

    Pineda - journeyman

This resume is thin but it's very good. I can't see Adamek not beating anybody that Cunningham fought. Jirov or Toney aren't even close to his resume.

And I think that Adamek was in his real prime at cruiser.

suprised noone mentioned AL COLE was great and maybe undefeated at CW before making the bad decision to go to heavy.

NATE MILLER was also decent. TONEY i dont think was there long enough though Jirov-Toney was a great one (interestingly two of the best 3 cw fights ever i feel, i was at, the other being Cunningham-Adamek).

JIROV was the man before the Toney fight and moving to HW.

Guys like CUNNINGHAM or even Huck could end up being true greats by the end of thier careers.

CUNNINGHAM imo better career than HAYE at CW, shame they never fought.

Right now CUNNINGHAM is the best around, by career end say he unifies and continues unbeaten could become easily best ever at cw.

Its odd when you thınk that one of the best fıghters to wın a cruıserweıght "world tıtle" was probably Tommy Hearns

Very though quetion. Cunningham avenged one loss and the other could have gone either way against someone who has proved to be a very good HW. Haye was undisputed champ but IMO didnt fight the best opponent available in Cunningham, but that was because he was moving up. I'd probably give it to Haye because his lone defeat came early in his career and his resume is nearly as good as Cunningham's and he was undisputed champ after all, I also think he would beat Cunningham.

I'd personally put Jirov on that list, likely third. He last to Toney, but he had a long lay off prior to the fight and that was a hell of a war. His war against Mesi was also something to watch. In fact even though he lost the fight, he almost ended Mesi's career.
