Who in the history of boxing can lay claim to the greatest single punch of all time?

I'm not talking about one punch KO in one bout, etc. Which boxer arguably had the greatest single punch in their arsenal? A shot that landed regularly throughout their career, accurately, powerfully, thrown with speed, and against good/great opposition.

(I realise this thread must have already been done....but oh well. :good)

Roy Jones' leaping left hook. Beautiful, unorthodox, fast, powerful, worked on great fighters. My favorite punch from any fighter.

Only one answer to this question.
The Suzie Q, the punch that Marciano used to KO Walcott in the 15th rd.

Don't know about greatest punch but here are my picks:

    Arguello's right hand
    Tommy's right cross
    Patterson's gazelle punch
    Dempsey's left hook

Recent examples are Bute's & Judah's left uppercuts

    Whitaker's jab
    Duran's counter right
    Chavez' left to the body
    Ali's jab

I suppose Ingo's right hand was devastating as hell even if it's not in the same class as the ounches above. That weapon single-handedly destroyed world-class fighters like Machen and Patterson.

Good recent examples, Techks, but I feel Mayweather's right hand lead is the best one. And I have to say Bute and Judah haven't proved it against the true elite level fighters. Judah failed against Mayweather and Tzsyu, Bute hasn't met anyone like that yet. Let's see if he can counter Ward and Kessler as good as he did Zuniga and Andrade.

Mayweather lead right has an astounding connect percentage rate, is thrown with extreme speed and timing and makes all his opponents wary of getting countered.

Thanks. You're right about Bute but Judah used his left against Cotto effectively in the first few rounds. Mayweather is the most accurate fighter as of now so good way to bring him up but of course you can't forget about the....MANILA ICE!!! Hopkins has a good right hand too, almost dropped Tarver with it.
