Can kessler avenge his loss to ward? I think he would with a KO otherwise he losses on points....:rofl
He couldn't beat Calz .. he looked like a crash test dummy after facing Froch .. he has zero chance against Ward. Both Kessler and Green got their **** manhandled by Ward. The question is which guy that got his ass kicked can beat the other. Kessler needs to take the Taylor route if he were to have to face Ward again.
He does look like he's improved on his footwork some (in a very short time) under Montoya and wasn't just pulling straigh back or coming straight in vs Froch. He hasn't shown any improved ability for in-fighting though. Ward would and should still be the favorite but i imagine it would be more competitive than the first fight at the very least.
Ward naturally should be favored to beat Kessler in a rematch. I don't see Kessler winning this on points, so short of a lucky KO Ward wins the rematch.
Would be quite a turn around to see Kessler/Ward II in the finals with Kessler getting the win after the one-sided loss the first time.
Though I consider Ward one of the best 5 fighters in the world, I think Kessler has it in him to pull off the upset. But Ward wins 7 or 8 out of 10 vs Kessler IMO.
The first fight was rather conclusive from a styles clash, Really can't see what Kessler can do different a second time around except maybe score a KO, But very unlikely IMO.
I think Kessler will win a rematch... Ward looked tired when the ref stopped the first fight... I think everyone should consider that Kessler couldn't see anything from his right eye from round 5 and on. And yes I know Ward dominated the early rounds as well, but I think Kessler would have finished stronger like he normally does. And by the way. Anyone who thinks that Ward - Kessler was anything like Ward - Green on competitive level should not be aloud to call themselves fans of boxing.
Kessler looked lost fighting Ward, I'm sure he'll have a better idea of what to do the second time around but I'm not sure he has it in him to actually pull it off.
I think 35- 65 to 40-60 if the fight's in Danmark. Ward will still be the better boxer, but he can't fight like he did back home without getting DQ'd.
Would be in Denmark to be fair and that means wont ever happen, as shown atm Ward seems reluctant to even fight in other american states outside ofoakland, let alone other countrys.
Ward beats Kessler 10 times out of 10. He's just that much better, and stylistically he's terrible for Kessler.
