I think the guy is actually quite right. Briggs is very dangerous for any boxer who doesn't have a sturdy chin in the first 3 rounds. After that he turns into a glorified punchbag, but there's always the chance he can get a shot in before that.

    This is a joke right...:patsch

Briggs have fought 4 rounds in the last three years and he will need a mechanical lung if the fight last more than 3 rounds. Vitaly is a disgrace to take on an unworthy and washed up Briggs.

Atlas thinks Briggs still needs more time.

Precisely. Briggs will be Briggs. He has power, but no stamina. He did score a 12th round KO vs Laikovich. But, I think a late KO for Briggs is out of the question against either Klitschko, because he will take to much punishment if the fight lingers on.

Sorry, David Haye is the disgrace for cowardly ducking Vitali. What's a man to do when no one will fight him?

Can't blame Vitali for trying to stay active and getting as many fights in as possible while he feels he can still fight at 70-80% of his peak. Too bad there are no opponents out there who are any good, and those who are at least average are unwilling to fight him for a $1-$2 million Dollar paycheck. Terrible class of contenders really.

With the fact in mind, that

    Vitali-Haye
    Vitali-Valuev
    Vitali-Adamek

are not possible, i see Vitali-Briggs as an possible entertaining fight for at least 3-4 rounds. Briggs has Top3 Punching Power and if Vitali gets lazy or slow (wasnt he a little bit slower recently), that Briggs might land a big one. In contrary to Vitalis previous comeback opponents Briggs really can bang.

I think that fight is ok and i will watch it. Maybe Briggs delivers some funny thrashtalk.

I agree with that but the problem is there really isn't a contender out there. All the top names at HW are recycled contenders and beltholders from the late 90's. They have managed to fight enough bums to add to their victory totals and there aren't any new HW to retire them. Brock, Chambers, Arreola, Povetkin sadly to say are the best young HW out there and neither of them is really much better if at all than Briggs or Tua or McCall or Rahman. THE **** IS JUST SAD!

I would love it if Briggs pulled it off and KO'ed Vitali. Can you imagine the threads and posts for that night if it were to happen?

Try to fight a guy at least in the top 30 or just do all of us a favor and retire. Looks like the best thing on Vitaly record will always be a Lewis TKO6....
