Trying to get hold of Ron Lyles' book. Not sure if its in circulation, but has anybody read 'The Professional'? meant to be really good. Can't believe i've never read it, especially as it comes with a Hemingway recommendation.

Not a boxing book, but for those interested i'm currently reading 'A peace to end all peace'.

I've read The Professional (the WC Heinz book?), its very very.......thorough, goes into every tiny detail of one fighters preparation for a bout, training camp etc, superbly detailed but a little heavy going I thought

Just about to start reading this

Just finished Four Kings and started Dark Trade.

Bought a few last week to work through Hitman, Hands of Stone, the Killings of Stanley Ketchel and a Jimmy McLarnin book (can't remamber what it's called).

The last boxing book I read was Ray Robinson's autobiography. It's pretty good but he doesn't really go off the subject of boxing.

Hauser was on the BBC London show two weeks ago, Ade Makinde the author of the Dick Tiger and Frankie DePaula books was on last week, Bob Mee is on this Thursday and the author of the Ron Lyle book is on next Thursday.
Last week's show is available on BBC iPlayer.

    Adios.
