I have a feeling Floyd will duck Pac.

I have no doubt that Floyd would beat Pacquiao if they fought.

No doubt!:good Let's just hope if Manny does in fact win he makes a choice to fight at Jr MW or go back down to WW and faces the only one I see who could beat him.. Which is Floyd Jr. Well.....I think Paul would beat Manny too....but there isn't a more meaningful fight than Floyd and PAC.

Great post and rebuttle.....I've said this a lot. This fight isn't gonna be so "cut and dry" like MOST of Floyd and Manny's fight b/c they BOTH are extreme talents with incredible physical gifts. The fact they BOTH are TRUE professionals when it comes to their craft, training and preparation says to me that it's really a toss up fight.

Floyd is absolutely the best boxer manny will probably EVER face. Floyd is absolutely going to be faced with his most CHALLENGING and difficult opponent should he decide to face Manny.

The fact of the matter is these two are going to be facing their POLAR OPPOSITES in every imaginable way....personalities, background, styles, strenghts...ect.

But all of that makes for a very interesting stylistic match up that will provide a lot of drama. With that said....Can't wait for the fight. I'm hard on Floyd regarding this subject simply b/c I feel he could have made this fight happen if he really wanted to.....like he has with all his other fights. But for whatever reason Manny has brought out a side in Floyd taht I've never seen before and I honestly don't really care for it.

I LOVE Floyd as a boxer.....he's incredible and talented and he's undfeated for a GREAT reason. Some will say he's a cherry picker but that's not really the case. At some point he had the ability to CHOOSE who his opponent was but that is b/c he earned that right. This situation with PAC is the ONLY time I've seen Floyd seemingly DUCK a fight. And I'm not use to that

There are NO other options for either Manny or Floyd that would produce what they could together! NONE.....so there is NO reason the fight should not happen. In the past Floyd was pegged as ducking Cotto or Marg but he had viable options to choose and he did what he had to do....and he's made the right decision b/c just look at what's he's done...and made for himself.

I agree with the points you have made. Both are incredible talents and this has the makings of the biggest fight of the last decade. All the previous claims and counter claims, dates and posponments have aload them to clean out all the other contenders and hype this fight up even more. But something of late has changed for Floyd and he seems unwilling or unable to engage. I do not doubt the mans courage but something is up!

To say Floyd isn't busy enough is assinine, and not being real. When you attack Floyd now, you will be in one hell of a fight. he becomes accurate, hard to hit, and just about invincible. Pac is too small, and he can't fight inside which will be his downfall against Floyd. Floyd's TWO fists will do the job.

When PAc has faced TWO fisted fighters, he's been hit. Any fighter who can box hits PAc, and once he is timed and hit by Floyd, Pac won't stop getting hit.

Chuck, YOUR boy agreed to the testing when first asked when all he had to do was say NO! Had Pac not agreed to the testing, Floyd would have to go another route to convince fans that he wanted the fight. I'd be on your side, only I wouldn't be calling Floyd a coward lol... PAc came from 112 to 147. He has stopped men bigger than him, and you really think that Floyd wouldn't ask for testing. McGuire, Sosa and Bonds hit like 60+ homers. Who the hell finally said, "Enough is enough"...players that who.

The difference between PAc and Floyd is Floyd's will to win. Once PAc finds if hard to hit Floyd, he has no plan B. PAc will be dealing with someone who is fast if not faster than him, someone who isn't afraid to counter him, and a fighter who has a chin. PAc can't jab Floyd so he knows that he has to attack Floyd which will be his downfall. Floyd can sit back and jab and wait for PAc to jump in.

Like any fight, PAc will be dangerous early, but once rounds 3 then 4,5,6,7 go by, and PAc has to finally fight flat footed, he's dead meat against Floyd. Marquez proved this, Morales proved this, and Cotto proved this a bit. The difference is PAc won't be able hit Floyd, and Floyd hits harder, and is a much better pure boxer than the aforementioned with no disrespect intended.

PAc might land a big shot on Floyd...and I say might, but by no means is Pac taking Floyd out with one shot, and by no means is he going to finish him either. PAc is going to have to totally break Floyd down by fighting inside/flatfooted, and that is not in his game. If PAc can out tough Floyd in a fight, then he will win, and nobody has out toughed Floyd in that square ring yet.
