I'm really shocked they finally gave him some credit, especially after the falling out he had with HBO over the Povetkin fight date.

I've got him ranked 3rd, but I'll be happy happy to take what I can get lol.

They should have put him in the Top10 at least after the Chagaev win. IMO he is Top5 material right now. His fights are boring, but they are boring because he is so f****** dominating like noone else.

I don't see how anyone other than Pac, PBF and JMM can be ranked above him. Not Williams or Martinez, neither of their resumes are comparable and neither have been as dominant for so long. Pac, Floyd and Wladimir are the most dominant fighters in boxing atm, I think its nothing less than criminal putting Wlad as low as number 10.

in regards to the heavyweight quality in the past, they're mediocre heavyweights, they're not very good. when i say very good, i mean the level just below greatness, and the fighters you named don't match that criteria.

I cannot believe what I have been reading. This thread/news has actually been received much more favorably than I expected! I totally applaud the Ring finally coming around but too my suprise even a bunch of Wlad critics/nitpickers seem to agree.

You could knock me over with a feather...

i can't be buggered at the moment to read all 6 pages but HELLS YEAH! he's earned it. it still baffles me (sure it's been said) that a champion going on nearly 10 DOMINANT defenses against only top rated, and often number 1 rated, challengers took this long to get in. cabellero got in after beating steve ****ing molitor, juan manuel after ponce de leon but wlad has to beat the holy **** out of every heavyweight not named klitschko (or haye i guess) to get in

to be honest, even in lewis' prime he barely scrapped their top 10. i doubt they'll give wlad any better treatment

    About time!!!!
I will actually subscribe to the ring since they finally got something right..
Now they got a new customer.
And for record he should be #3.
Right behind Pac Floyd and then Wlad.

I'm shocked at all the respect for Wlad in here. It's definitely deserved, not many rated him highly not all that long ago.

Wlad is gettign the recognition due to the reign he is putting together. Larry Holmes was not beloved. But when a man puts together a reign, you have to give him respect.

Wlad looks to finally be getting it. Holmes really never did.
