He has a reputation for being really different in "real life", away from the cameras.

I do miss him at HBO though.

Foreman winning the Heavyweight championship of the world at such an advanced age is the greatest achievement in sport...period!

I can't tell by "different" if you mean that to be good or bad....

The best Foreman quote was when he said 'HE BROKE HIS LEG!' when Lewis knocked down Michael Grant.

    :good

Foreman is one of my favorite persons, as well one of my favorite boxers. After his loss to Ali, he had to reflect on his life. It was one of the best things to happen to him. :thumbsup

I've heard some bad things about how he is away from the cameras.

He's an interesting character to me, who says all kinds of strange things. His life would make a good story for a movie.

Much better boxing life stories for a movie, Ron Lyle for example.

heard that to and not just from one person. vicious, malicious and still chip on his shoulder. apparently better from when he was younger but he's not always "big george". it's been said he took great pleasure in bludgeoning guys into unconsciousness

Lyle certainly led a tougher life, but, I think George's story would appeal to a wider audience.

Not that I wouldn't like to see a Lyle movie. The guy was one tough mother****er, and led a hard life. Plus, he's a local guy, so, of course I would love to see it.

Exactly. Lyle was just one tough luck guy.

I could see the whole Olympics part of George's life being a big twist in the film. The elation of winning the gold, only to return to accusations of being an uncle tom.

When he dropped Moorer, then went to his corner and got on his knee to give thanks to GOD>...............one of the greatest moments in sports, yes.

i'm canadian and hockey is the biggest thing in sports here by far. there is not a single moment in any sport that compare with big george winning the title, the glory of micky ward and gatti going at it, or eddie futch tearfully pulling a blind joe frazier out of the thrilla in manilla
