Good post. Though it hurts me to say this, but Hagler wins.
Hagler in his prime is unstoppable.

I've always leant towards Hopkins...Reckon he grinds it out in a tight one.

hagler. I can see hopkins opening his tool kit and giving hagler a few things to think about but hagler has some of his own. UD 15 hagler

Hopkins is one of the best technicians of modern times and hes very tough so you cant count him out though.

I dont really see this gap in class...They both have their strengths and weaknesses but they are clearly on the upper tier of middleweights in terms of ability.

hopkins wins this in a very close fight over the course of 12 rounds.

hopkins was awkward and hagler would have to rough him up, but in the end hopkins would still outbox him, hagler had trouble with roberto duran when they fought and i could see hopkins frustrating him big time.

Hagler in his prime was a complete boxer puncher and could do it all....He was a more active fighter than Hopkins in the ring, had better movement, and was the harder puncher. He'd win a split decision in a fight with more boxing technique, infighting, skills than a boxing video vault

hagler could take a better shot then hopkins could hit harder then hopkins but over 12 rounds would not be able to out box hopkins.
