To me this division is really har to rank. Personally I'd have Ward at the top and then it's very close between Kessler, Bute, Froch and Dirrell.

I certainly think that the winner of the Super 6 should be considered number 1, but in some ways it's "safe" to pick Bute as the top dog because he's very unlikely to lose until the Super 6 is finished.

I often think that's why so many were rating Dawson so highly (I was certainly not), because it didn't appear that anyone had a chance of beating him, so it was "safe" to rank him high on the P4P lists.

Somehow some people think beating Andrade and Miranda is worthy of a #1 status.

Exactly, Miranda should be number 1:
he already faced Abraham 2X, Bute, Ward, Pavlik man this guy must be number 1 on the oposition he already faced.

    And lost.

That's a photo of the past. Howcome 90% of the posters here thought Dawson would win easily against Pascal? Because they looked at the resumes.

You have to look at many points: the boxer's intelligence, his entourage, his dedication, the way he progresses or not, the way he wins his fights, etc. Resume is only one aspect, even it's an important one.

SMW is damn hard to rank cause of the super 6, but thinking about it you make a good arguement.

I didn't mention or allude to Green. I don't remember Kessler clearly winning any rounds, but I do remember Ward rendering him so ineffective throughout, he might as well have been unconscious. He won a very lopsided decision over Kessler-who was the top name of the division. Bute has absolutely nothing on that.
