Lucian Bute vs. Arthur Abraham

I can't choose, this is a fight I never even thought about. I am going with AA by KO just because I have seen him fight more.

Bute. Dirrell showed some serious kinks in the armor of AA. Bute has simular ability to dirrell tho slightly slower and more powerful. Once a gameplan is out on a fighter, any fighter who possesses what it takes to execute the gameplan has a good chance at winning. Bute couldn't take exactly all the chances dirrell did because his defensive reflexes aren't as good as dirrell's. So IMO if bute is slightly more disiplined than dirrell he should be able to beat AA.

AA by KO is also a decent possibility but I feel bute winning is more likely. Venue would have a piece in the matter also.

 

Bute in 8 rounds or less, and it would not be competetive.

 

Ill take Abraham by KO.

 

Abraham is not quick handed. Heavy handed yes, not quick or anything. Bute dances like a manhatee around him all night.

 

Bute is Abrahams kryptonite

abraham is very quick, he isnyt a neandrathol even though he looks like one, imo he is the best super middleweight h2h after andre ward.

Euh... no. He gasses way too quick. He fights in burst like Pascal but without the explosion. Rewatch the Lujan fight.

Very few people on ESB have studied Arthur Abraham as closely as I have. Many of his own fans know less about his fights than I do.

Dirrell had the style to box Arthur's ears off. Pavlik and peak Kessler have the style to drive AA back in a corner and suck the life out of him. Bute has the style to do both.

Arthur is a very good fighter. Against a guy like Froch, he'll really shine. However, there are certain style issues that Abraham has no decent answer for. The flip side is that he is always dangerous, so a guy better not make to many mistakes.
