So why's there a rematch?? because it's a damn pointless fight. Lauri get's European title shots like toys in happy meals.

He looked to me like he was going to touch gloves!! mind you I don't blame Paul for taking the chance to lay him out while he wasn't defending himself...

McCloskey needs to hurry the **** up and fight for a world title. I love the guy as a fighter but this time wasting with the European belt needs to stop, he hasn't got time for it.

Nope you're right, he was just lazy getting his defence together.

It was a ******* of a punch though.

Yep, this fight then the rematch are both unnessarcery fights going on while his prime is going to "waste" (probably a bad choice of word).

Actually watching the replay at 2:35, it actually does look like he started reaching a bit with the left hand, I hadnt thought that when I'd watched it before.

Still, even if he was looking to touch gloves, there's no reason why there should be a replay. Yer supposed to defend yourself at all times, and the referee had signaled to them to continue.

i seriously rate McCloskey but the KO was a bit dodgy. Lauri was looking to touch and was off guard.

The rematch is over drug testing. **** up from his management.

Who is going to fight him? Should stay busy, the natural fight to make is McCloskey-Olusegun if he wins in Algeria.

Anyone. My point is he needs to make some kind of impression on the world scene to get himself an opportunity. Fight somebody in America thats known. Whatever. If we're waiting for him to wriggle his way into an opportunity at home we could be waiting most of his prime. He doesn't look to be getting close and he relies a lot on speed and reflexes so its a big concern.

Oh OK I hear ya I thought you were saying he should be taking on one of Khan, Bradley, Alexander. I agree no disrespect to Morrison but this fight does nothing to progress him towards a world title.

I want him to stay busy but they have to match him better in terms of an opponent because he hasn't really made any progress in the last year. If he was to defend his European he should look at a decent up and comer from abroad such as Dennis Shafikov (24-0) Willy Blain (21-1) Ruslan Provodnikov (16-0) or a decent 140lber from the America's to get him noticed over in the States (which is the only way he will get onto HBO against one of the big names) someone like Breidis Prescott, Julio Diaz or Josesito Lopez.
