joe gallagher macklins second coach should be in his corner for barker fight, also ian tims has signed a contract with frank warren should be out in september show in mayfair as far as i know. he's been sparing robbie long for his rubber match with fitzy and reakons he will get the better of him this time.

I've no doubt the training Macklin has got in in the Wildcard has been of great benefit but if the person who is allegedly your coach cannot attend the most important fight of your career, you really should be looking to someone else who is committed.

I dislike Roach for this. He takes on too much and his fighters suffer for it. If you can't attend his big fights, you tell him you can't be his coach. It's unfair and disingenous to do otherwise. It's almost like he wants the glory of other fighters' success.

Roach would be a massive boost to have in his Macklin's corner. He had Duddy sussed after 2 rounds and made sure JCC Jr didn't let him press him up against the ropes.

If Gallagher trained Macklin whilst he could still train at the Wildcard, like is happening right now, it would be ideal. Roach simply isn't dedicated. :-(

all joking aside you have to feel a bit for Macklin. Roach has let him down big time. Macklin was doing interviews a week ago about Freddy Roach being in hos corner, and then Roach says it's been the plan all along.

Unless Macklin was talking crap, Roach has let him down big time. Sounds like it will be Gallagher but Macklin cannot have to much faith in the guy.

I agree Rob. I still think Macklin will do the business but there is a possibilty he won't and there is a possibility Roach could be the difference. If Roach told him from day 1 what the deal was, fair enough. But it does seem he let Macklin down. Why would Macklin lie about him being in his corner when it makes him look like a fool. Can't see any reason for him to lie about it.

id say macklin was told to say Roach would be over, help ticket sales or pormote the show. I heard over a month ago that Roach would most likely be in Phillipines with Manny!

Any names being bandied about for a possible opponent for Willie Casey at Ulster Hall? Probably a British lad.

Another bull**** opponent for Lee in my opinion. Fernando Guererro stopped him in 2 last time out. Lee should step the **** up.
