First off, i have never laced up the gloves and boxed professionally, so im not too up on the ins and outs of handwrapping.

we live in a society where reasonable doubt is enough to prove innocence.

so is there reasonable doubt as to margo's guilt in the whole handwrrapping debacle? this thread aint about the hypotheticals involved in handwrapping vs cotto, cintron, williams and whoever else. it is purely regarding the mosley fight. where he DID GET CAUGHT. he claims he didnt know, what do you guys think?

i personally dont see a way your hands could be wrapped without you knowing, but as i said i have never been in a handwrapping situation.

It's possible since Capetillo has admitted to full fault for it. There's nothing stopping Capetillo from coming out and implicating Margarito. How do you prove what someone's intent was in their head when you have no proof at all?

I dont think so, I was always used to my hands being wrapped a certain way and I think I probably would have noticed if my trainer wrapped them differently.

There is no, "Yes you do know" or "No you cannot tell" answer to that. Some trainers have said their guys don't know...the fighters zone out...**** like that.

You ask is it possible he was unaware? Absolutely it is possible.

Even Naz says the boxer would probably not know the difference too.

im not saying he was guilty, or was not guilty. for the sake of boxing i hope he does get cleared, but i just find it hard to believe his trainer would take it upon himself to concoct this plan and margo was non the wiser.

i think he knew for definite.

he showed different confidnece levels between cintron cotto and shane, he looked as though he didnt have what it took to do the job aganst shane, yet when he faced cotto cintron he was macho man for reals, that dude thought he wss the **** and showed some arrognce yet the same arggance was affected when he fought shane, wy was that?

bottomline is if he didnt know they were in his gloves he would have fought what the hell had them re wrapped and done his job win or lose.

you could tell in his eyes something wasnt right

    he is a cheat

exactly, if it can be proven that there is reasonable doubt, he is innocent by proxy.

Possibly. Don't understand how he wouldn't know especially after it hardens after round but who knows? Maybe he didn't use them during a fight but it would be naive to think there's no chance he did use them in his career before Shane. Just to think if he tried to use them on Old Man River Shane, what would prevent him from trying to use them on a young lion like Cotto in '08? No proof that he tried to use them his career before Shane but what I'm saying makes sense.
