Personally man if I was manny, I would want to fight in front of my people in Manilla, but ofcourse that just if I was him...

:think I didn't know that... That could be a pretty big stumbling block if that is true. But I'm sure some dead presidents could see him have a change of heart.

I figured Arum would be smart enough to think of this himself about fighting in Manila. I could careless for this bs fight, but It makes the most sense business wise in my opinion.

I'm a fight fan.... I love the fight! Considering the two styles and the differnce in size and even the "DRAMA" with Marg and PAC alike make this a pretty marketable fight. Any press is helpful to a promotion of a fight and both Marg and PAC have been getting a lot this year. Marg was denide by CA after his original suspension was up. But they have the ability to extend the suspension if they saw fit. And I guess they did.

Yep. He's the same guy who wouldn't allow Tyson to get a license in Texas. You may be right about the dead presidents though. He's up for re-election in November and the revenue from this can really help him.

That part is obvious...I was looking at it from Manny's point of view when i posted that...Money or not...I would not go to fight him in his own country when they could probably do about the same if not more in my hometown...thats my point!

I agree with you on Jones, Toney, Vargas, and Mosely; but you really need to stop throwing Floyd in there. Regardless of how you feel about the numbing, he didn't actually break the rules.

There is still a fine line between breaking documented rules and not. If they come out and say Xylo is now a banned substance, I will be totally with you.

Also, out of all those Cheaters, Vargas got it the worst. He had to pay $100,000.00 fine and suspended for a year, while Toney a two time offender was fined a measely 2000 dollars, and the rest of the cheaters got away scott free.

I don't think its a coincedence Vargas and Margarito (Mexicans) got an unfair deal compared to the other fighters.

At this point WHY on earth would Manny even want this fight against an opponent who is going through hell just to be able to fight in the US? It's unnecessary. I can't imagine he or anyone else feeling good having their name attached to a fight that only got cleared in Texas thanks to some backroom dealings. Everything about this bout is slimy. Not to mention I don't think Manny wants this fight. Arum does.
