If you think that, why bother commenting on a thread which is Haye's message to his fans? There are plenty of other Haye hate topics around, I think your comment will find a better home there.

But you know what, I see how it is now, you're american and you don't got no heavyweight champ! and a load of other hype jobs exposed in the past couple of weeks! you must be pretty bitter right now.

But seriously change the record! Can we just get some updates without the haters crawling out and posting crap!

Well said rainmaker :), i'm myself losing faith in Haye, but its only a thread to pass information on to my fellow eastsiders.

Its interesting what he has to say, seems theres more to this story.

To be fair to the American heavyweights, most of them have already lost their title shots because they actually took their shot when they got the chance. If Haye had fought Wladimir last summer (or this) a lot of posters here would be talking about a British fighter being exposed. If you want to win the lottery you've got to buy a ticket :deal

It's true, don't get me wrong, i'm not exactly cool with Haye side stepping the Klit's but he's got his reasons and i'll give him the benefit of the doubt so long as he does what he says he is going to do and fight one of them eventually. For now, i'd like to know what are his immediate plans, and I think we are about to find out.

I mean those who don't like him and will never like him, fine they have their reasons and sure they are free to criticise but it's been getting just as boring as Haye's silence the past few months, those mindless trolls who post crap. Firstly no professional athelete who is prepared to step in to the ring knowing full well he could die in there, is afraid to face the next man.

Yes Haye's action has left people asking questions but can we for once, just listen up and wait and see what the next move is?

    Yeah .

The thing is, as discusted as I am about the matchup, I'd still probably go watch it if it's somewhere like the o2 Arena.

It's not about when it'll happen. It's about David taking it the way it is.

Imagine if you were lined up to fight Haye and he put pictures of your mother and father beheaded on a shirt.

    How would you take it?

Fact is, David went up to Klits faces, insulted them, pulled out twice, called them out and when he got the offer for a third time and STILL DIDN'T fight them.

You can't justify anything he says because he wouldn't have gone into hiding if he was objective about the Klits supposedly not fighting him.

It's a duck, pure and simple. If he didn't call them out and do the **** he did, then I and many others would not have a problem. I couldn't care who he would fight then.

I understand what you are saying But you gotta understand, that Haye needed some PR stunts to get in the Klit's faces. So much so that they want to face him just to shut him up. That's one objective. The other was that he needed to make some noise in the heavyweight division in order to fast track himself in to a position to face the top tier. It was actually a smart move, it got him a **** load of publicity, and polarised opinions about him. Some want to see him fight and do well, other's want to see him get beat up for being so cocky. Either way PEOPLE WILL BUY THE TICKETS AND PAY THE PAY PER VIEW FOR ONE REASON OR THE OTHER!

So if I were Mr Haye I would be pretty happy as people are talking about him. I agree though if he leaves boxing not having fought a Klit as he said that he was going to do that, made a big splash and insulted the brothers, then yes that would be seen as a ***** move and I would lose a great deal of respect for Haye. But until then, i'll watch his fights and back him.
