Margo denied license in Cali!!!!

**** the CSAC, the guy served his suspension... let him fight.

Margo was never suspended. When you're suspended, you have a finite amount of time in which you can't compete. Margo had his liscense revoked, which meant that he wasn't allowed to re-apply for a liscense for a year. It's been a year and they allowed him to re-apply. There is nothing in the rules that state that his application for a liscense has to be approved.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the CSAC.

 

i read up on this a while ago and was a little confused. arum had said that they withdrew their request for a provisional 1 fight license in Vegas b/c they knew they werent going to get it. they then were putting all their eggs into the CSAC basket. arum said if he got licensed in Cali then the fight would happen in Cowboy's stadium. now...do the two states have reciprocity? i don't know how the dots were to be connected but that was the plan. So...i don't know what Texas will do. I don't even know if Texas was on thier radar tbh. I never read that it was.

On top of that...I also understand that the new CSAC head is a former boxer w/ no love for Margo.

I would love for someone to explain to me how getting a CSAC license meant he could fight in Texas....

 

So Toney, RJJ, Mayweather Jr, Cheato Trinidad, Mosley, and Margarito should never be able to get in the ring again.

 

He has done his time, let him fight.

:nono arum is hell bent on cashing in on the massive mexican/mexican american market. he is trying to move mountains to get a big name mexican fighter in cowboy's stadium. he was trying to get jcc jr there against kelly and he ALWAYS wanted this fight there. if arum can't get this fight in cowboy's stadium its headed straight to mexico. not to dubai or manilla. arum is a business man first and last. unless those sheiks pony up an astronomical amount of money...this is in Mexico.

Funny you say that since it was the California State Athletic Commission who did such a **** poor job of overseeing Capetillo wrap Margarito's hands, that it allowed Capetillo to sneak an illegal pad into Margo's wraps. They sure don't take any responsibility for their f**k ups. .

Mayweather Jr. disregarded the weight limit againt JMM. That is in fact cheating by the letter of the law. Cheaters shouldn't be allowed in the ring. Cheato Trinidad ruined the Careers of Reid and Vargas with his "illegal wraps" and dipping them in water.

 

I want to see Pacman/Margarito. It was the most competitive fight for Pacman. Although I do understand what the CSAC is doing. It will be a long time until any fighter or corner try to put some pad in their gloves in any state. That is the point they are making, but this fight is a great fight matchup. If the fight does eventually happen in Big D I will order the PPV. This will be an exciting fight.
