hoppa never had the chin. but there are a lot of other rl and vfl players that would have been interesting.

    a natural matchup.

i recon hoppa would do it for the money?
does hoppa still have the aussie belt?
is that something 'team leapai' may be interested in?

whether on the footy field or the canvas, hoppa will always enjoy being in the ring

i think it was more his conditioning and lack of defence more than a weak chin.

he was never ko'd by one shot it was a few in a row that did the damage. he has virtually zero defence.

    Hoppa's a true wizzard of ring-craft!

(Sally - Col Wilson won the Oz title off Hoppa about a year ago and is due to defend it tomorrow against Whitehead)

I can't believe fox sports isn't showing the Wilson V Whithead fight tomorrow night. I mean it is for the OZ Heavyweight belt. I hear big Col has been training hard & been off the **** for the past month.

disappointing isnt it that its not on fox...
col will need to be training hard, whitehead is pretty good and has a very good jab so if he gets in rythm could be a long night for col

yet they show red bull planes doing ****, etc......or bowls, etc. **** me. australia needs a don king. someone needs to sell this **** to tv. the problem is the promotion talent, not the boxing ability.

fenech had a go. but you CANT expect him to be a 3 time all time great...AND a great promotor.

someone NEEDS TO STEP UP IF aussie boxing is to go mainstream.!!!!!!!

Yeah Beaver I know what ya saying..........sad isn't it. The most disappointing thing about Col is his disregard for his natural ability. He has a lot of losses on his record which he can only blame himself for lack of effort. I remember him pulling an alnighter & getting back to his motel room at 5am the day of the Jimmy Thunder fight. Was still spewing in his dressing room 20 mins before the fight from th episs & came out & boxed Jimmy's ears off for 10 rds. Not anyone can do that. I think he'l beat Whithead.
