    Round 3

Paines is very tentative, only attempting jabs while backing up and coming forward with some brief body flurries but getting countered and pressured consistently. Despaigne warned for a rabbit punch. They clinch and slap each other on the flank for the last few moments.

    30-27 Despaigne.

Paines has a euro fighter stance..upright and standard. Yet he throws hooking punches...bad combination.

The adv of the euro stance is the ability to throw straight hard shots. I dont see anything Paines does yet well. leaky defense, shaky legs. None of his punches are straight, lacks a jab, doesnt seem to be very powerful.
Desp has an ok rd, franky hard to look bad against paines.
    10-9 Paines
    30-26 desp

one thing I dont care about Desp is the lazy way he measures with the jab, if Paines was faster he could counter over that lzy jab. paines is at least giving it a go with his limited ability. paines face is getting busted up a littl now. rd4 was paines best rd. Desp isnt a very urgent fighter, he takes his time and a lot of time off in the rds. Still desp cant miss with the left hand..
    10-9 desp
    40-35 desp

    Round 4

Despaigne is now trying to box a bit more selectively while Paines rushes in and throws jabs and attempted uppercuts that wind up blunted on Despaigne's chest and arms. Despaigne is still looping his overhand right but still scoring with it. Largely a jab contest.

    40-35 Despaigne

nasty cut really bothering desp and right so...hes is on his toes a lot this rd, very nice check hook in there by desp tho. Paines pressured early.

that cut is bad enough to stop it IMO. paines did some bodywork this rd. He lost the rd but it was his best rd.

    Round 5

Despaigne cut from a headbutt. Paines is now coming forward throwing in combination, starting to the body and side-slapping his way up to the head. Despaigne uses his feet, changes directions frequently and jabs the face of Paines on the move. Paines lands a jab, blocks a 1-2, and counters around it with a hook. They grind together in a clinch and Despaigne lands a hook on the break. Paines' trunks are stained with Despaigne's blood.

    50-44 Despaigne
