    Round 9

This used to be one-sided and clean; now it's become one-sided and ugly. Paines is initiating the grabbing now. A few Paines hooks lazily coast into the body of an unconcerned Despaigne. A few jabs brush the face of Paines and Despaigne is emboldened to throw some looping rights. Whipping combos land on the face of Paines. Despaigne really mastering Paines with the jab. Hard uppercut on the chin knocks Paines' head upward.

yordanis had so many oppurtunities to put his man away, he's far too gun shy. good power, good speed, good defense. just needs to fight with some conviction

Don't worry if his face can take it like that, I'm sure his hands could too, if he actually blocked anything.

    Round 10

Paines throws a sequence of underhands to the body and Despaigne punches right with him, aping him a bit. Paines walks into a couple of counters punctuated by a hook and grabs on. Paines lands a few isolated jabs and hooks but isn't commanding any respect with them. Despaigne hunkers down and bangs the body and manages to rise up and tap Paines on the chin before the oncoming clinch. Both land jabs at the same time but Despaigne is quick to bring an uppercut around underneath and back Paines up. Despaigne waves a hook at Paines' belly as though trying to discourage a fly. He's bored.
