American biased boxing writers have said that Vitali can't fight at all, he is clumsy, has zero power, is extremely slow, can't take a punch, has zero stamina, etc. I read all the lies put out by the America biased media, which was so untrue. The prejudice against Vitali and Vlad shows. Sour Grapes all the time from the haters. Vitali has never been slow, now when he was young and not now. Haters see what they want to see, it is called wishful thinking. I remember when Rich Giachetti and Larry Donald were making fun of Vitali, said it would be an easy fight, that Vitali was slow, etc., well, Vitali was the first to knock Donald out. Donald is 6 feet 4 inches tall, was good chin, jab, right hand, but looked like amateur against Vitali. Vitali has not slowed down at all, in fact, he is better than ever without all the injuries. Vitali was six time world kickboxing champion, superheavyweight division, both pro and amateur, International champion, world military champion, etc., he used to fight a kickboxing fight, then go and fight a boxing fight! He loves to fight.
i think Haye is hoping the longer he can put of fighting Vitali, the more shot he will be. This is a bit of a gamble, i did read that thread with Barry Hearns saying Harrison Haye was almost a done deal. So it seems that both camps are happy to leave it until next year.
When he looks back he will kick himself for this current period of inactivity after a promising start. If he doesn't fight a Klitschko with the possibility of him winning these fights, but goes on to fight a Harrison or someone of that ilk, he won't be remembered at all. At least someone like Danny Williams went in there and gave it the best he had against what was arguable a VITLAY at the very top of his game.
I am actually in slight agreement here. I have said since Vitali's been back that hes past it... everyone thought he was the same old vitali in the peter fight but to me, i saw a fighter whos past it. He is beating these fighters because hes just that much better then they are, past it or not, but i do think that should he fight one of these hungry, good young contenders (who ironically are the only ones who wont step in the ring with him) he might be looking at his first L in a long time. Vitali was a very very good fighter, and is a credit to the sport IMO..... and i hope he continues winning, but the man is ready to be beaten by an atheletic, hungry, good fighter. I havnt really been impressed with him in any fight outside of the Arreola one since his return. I actually hope he retires before he is beaten. And im kinda glad the Haye fight didnt happen as i could see Haye outpointing Vitali sad to say. Just IMO
**** David Haye. He's turned out to be the heavyweight Mayweather. He's losing support all over the place. What a *****!
I was wondering that... what are they saying about Haye in England? Still the man or are people getting frustrated with him?
Everyone with half a brain knows that Booth wouldnt leave the towel out of his hands for single second if it ever comes to that fight to save his boy from having to take a Herbie Hide style dive to ***** out. Haye is a fragile hypejob. hes not interested in fighting anyone remotely good. He wants Fraudley Harrison
