If Rob had any dignity, he would leave the forum for a while of his own accord.

 

Rob let me tell you first hand, Ian is one of the nicest blokes i've met in the sport.

 

You do realise that Ian is a GENUINE boxing journalist and has been for at least 15-20 years. He writes for Boxing Monthly. Not as regular as he should but he is very highly regarded throughout the trade.

I don't see anything wrong with posting something you hear early- but be sure to prepare yourself for some flak if your wrong.

But Rob you need to realise, you come across as a right twat at times. Don't mean that in a bad way but your very opinionated and a lot of things you say (not regarding this) I agree with. I find you funny because I'm familiar with you as a poster- but if you go another forum and start given one of the most popular people on there a load of stick your going to be ridiculed.

Imagine if someone of mixed popularity, but with a lot of posts -spud for example, came on here and started lambasting Kos or Ishy for something of nothing. He'd get the same treatment and told to **** off back to where he came from.

Don't take it personally, Ian is just responding to how you were with him i'd imagine.

I wrote a piece which was clear speculation, NOT saying that ITV WOULD be back in boxing, just asking if they COULD be and even added a question mark in the f*cking headline.

You tried to embarrass me - on Boxrec and on here (I like ESB by the way, the site has a good, positive relationship with Boxrec though maybe not the forums, I don't know) and now have shown yourself to be totally without credibility.

The site doesn't 'let me write'. I started the c*nt after leaving being Editor of Britishboxing.net for five years. I've written for Boxing Monthly for years. I'm a qualified journo though just choose to do it as a hobby because I prefer my other job.. I've written and edited thousands of articles.

You have a bit of knowledge, went out of your way to try and make a c*nt out of me for no reason, and now have made a big mistake yourself - it happens.
