Looks like Khan vs Ortiz

Over at the scene Schaefer is saying Marquez is going to fight Katsidis, so Khan will fight Ortiz or Maidana......which means he will fight Ortiz.

I like this fight.

Two come forward fighters. Both with questionable chins. I'd go for a Khan win, but I think it'll be entertaining.

 

Its will certainly be a good fight and whatever you think of Ortiz he can bang.

 

Khan said after the Malignaggi fight, if Devon and Bradley fight, he will fight Maidana and the winners face each other. Well now Bradley and Devon are set to fight in January while Khan is eyeing Marquez or Ortiz. I can't even see him fighting Ortiz.

I scanned through this article briefly before and im sure Schafer says he's looking to make Khan vs Marquez?

 

Khan will destroy Ortiz....and even though I do not rate Maidana he would give Khan a few more rounds before Khan finished it.

 

why is khan still ducking maidana?

if khan beats maidana he effectivly kills two birds with one stone.

is'nt maidana khans mandatory anyway? or is he and roach giveing out more sidestep money.

I give up on this topic.

Maidana would get schooled by Khan. He wouldnt lay a glove on him. If he takes the fight and wins then Khan will be criticised for 'avoiding' someone else. If it's mandatory then it should happen because thems the rules. If it's not madatory then Khan should be looking at more difficult opposition. To me Ortiz is a better opponent for Khan than Maidana. But i'd like to see him in with Urango.

 

Maidana would struggle to see the end of the 3rd round.

Ortiz doesn't really deserve this fight in light of his quittage against Maidana..... but it's a harder fight than Maidana - if that makes sense?

Marquez wouldn't bother me - so long as it isn't someone old/shot like Casa or average like Guerrero.

 

I tend to agree but it seems Roach and GBP do not.

 

i think ortiz could have the tools to beat khan, he has faster hands than maidana and has better technique to get into the position to hit khan. this fight would be interesting

I would prefer to see khan in with either Ortiz or Maidana rather than JMM, preferably Maidana as it's his mandatory.

Although both can bang, Khan beats both convincingly with his speed and in out tactics. Let's not forget, maidana was beaten by Kotelnek as he didn't have the boxing skills to beat him.

 

if Khan doesn't fight Maidana then he should be stripped of his title.
