I don't know for sure that Mayweather is actually scared of Pacquiao. What is fair to say he's afraid of Pacquiao represents, the most lethal and dangerous threat to his "0" at the time. Depending on the year you could substitute Pacquiao with Mosley, Cotto or whoever represented the greatest threat to the Pretty One at the time. It's terrified Mayweather so much that he has (as George Foreman portrays it) resorted to "slandering" Pacquiao's name and putting up this "red herring" OSDT. I'll believe the Pretty One when I see him spending his money campaigning to change drug testing procedures in Nevada, until then it was just a ploy. Mayweather's identity is wrapped up in his "0" loss column. He knows that Pacquiao is the complete opposite. Pacquiao and his fans KNOW that it's Pacquiao's willingness to fight or fighting with abandon that defines Pacquiao. A loss to Mayweather wouldn't devastate Pacquiao or his fans, how he lost would be the biggest factor. On the otherhand Mayweather's whole world "figuratively" would collapse and it's this fear that has PARALYZED the Pretty One's MOUTH and FEET, because he blew his chance to fight Pacquiao this year. Well, it's not officially over, because the Pacquiao/Margarito fight hasn't been signed yet. C'mon Pretty Boy you still have a chance to back up all the **** you've been talking.

because marquez is a lightweight. Pac would destroy him then get no credit for it. I would like to see them fight for the 3rd time but at this stage of his career, pac would beat him and not gain much. Margarito at least have the size advantage over pac.

The best thing to do in my opinion is simply not care about these two. If they fight, good (or even awesome), but I won't be waiting for it 24 hours a day. What if the fight happens this winter, we're going to post one thread a day until then talking about who's afraid of who and who took steroids ? Huge waste of time... and there's enough good boxers around the world to give us great fights !
