Joe Louis. Was he a little bit "special" in the intellectual sense?

By the end of 1948, Louis was 58-1

Who is more ******ed...Louis, at 58-1, or the 58 people that thought it smart to get in the ring with him, specifically 49 of those that forgot to duck and got knocked out; including Max Schmeling in the rematch?

This is a sensitive subject for me, Jazzo. When I grew up, Louis was a COLOSSUS -- the HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, when it MEANT something -- when there was ONLY ONE. When the name Joe Louis was held in awe 'round the world. Dads held him up to their sons as the epitome of a fighting man.

The thought, at that age, of Joe being limited was never even considered. To us, he was just a poor simple man, who spoke simply, with integrity, like Gary Cooper on the screen.

Have many indelible memories of Louis, from his apologizing for bumping into to me while I hit the heavy bag training at Stillman's Gym as a kid; when he said center ring in the ol' Garden during WWII: "We'll win because we're on God's side; and when he was draped on the ring apron -- after being KO'd by Marciano -- just a few feet from my dad 'n I.

It's because he is smart. If you don't get married you can't get Divorced. Marriage/Divorce = 50%+ of your wealth. Plus it's stressful.
He said something like it before. He ripped on Shane Mosley for it.

It also means more than one ***** you can have and ***** that doesn't dry up.

And, Bitches be crazy. You sleep, they can cut your dick off and/or slit your throat.

Well yeah, but I still think Floyd is gay. The ellerbe stuff, the purses and fashion, the daddy issues, the outbursts whenever anyone questions his sexuality, the lack of any meaningful woman in his life, etc... Not a knock on him or anything, that's just how I think it is. He's still nowhere near as gay as camacho at any rate:lol:

Camacho is much more g-h-e-y than g-a-y, I always thought. Well, not always exactly. I've only known about the g-h-e-y concept for a year or so.

As a big Mr. Show fan, all I can say is he's greater than the number "24". You might want to think about that.

Ali G show, Chappelle show. Are they not of the same caliber? I would think so.

    1. I said funnIER. 2...I consider Ali G a UK product before it ever hit American soil.

    3. Mr. Show, Ali G, Chappelle show, none of them come close to (loosely translated) "Nicky V's happy hour Bonanza!"
