Mayweather has claimed that Pac is a bum on several occasions.
He has also claimed him to be a good fighter but one-dimensional..
Floyd has claimed Pac to be a bum because he has losses...
He has also claimed that he's better than SRR or Muhammad Ali because they had losses and he doesn't.

Floyd is not stupid - of course he knows Pac is a great fighter, even if he won't aknowledge it. He knows these losses on Pacs record don't mean **** - he doesn't aknowledge it tho. Just as he knows that other fighters losses - like Emmanuel Augustus losses - can not define their quality as a fighter. Deep inside lil Floyd knows that him being undefeated doesn't count for much either - he's not better than Ali or SRR because they had losses and he doesn't.

My point was: Floyd criticizes Pac for having these losses while he gives other fighters a free pass. That's hypocritical and a cheap way to discredit Pac (not as cheap as claiming that he's on roids tho...)

Floyd building up all this "0" propaganda is not good for boxing. It filters down to lower level boxers and promoters who then try and keep their fighters "undefeated" by protecting them and cherry-picking fights for him. We don't see as many 10-0 guys fighting 10-0 guys like we used too. So we then get fighters just fighting a load of journeymen and tomatoes, not really improving their boxing and just blasting these guys out. Then they get cashed out on their title shots (which they're not ready for) with their "impressive" 30-0 records vs an actually good fighter. It's BS.

    :good

Right on!!! Mayweather's obsession with his "0" losses sets a bad example for boxing. It prevents some of the best fights from happening. What should define a fighter is how he fights and who's he fought. Mayweather is a terrible role-model in more ways than one.

Zero losses can mean something or be worthless. If you've fought against the tough opponents and was always ready for a challenge, and you're still undefeated at the end, then all respect to you.

If you're handpicking opponents, dodging and ducking all the better fighters out there, then your 0 loss is worthless. It's much better to have faced opponents and gotten a few losses, then having fought nobody and be undefeated.

RA said it best. "If you don't fight nobody, nobody's gonna beat you Floyd". So a zero loss record after years of ducking fighters is worthless.

It seems that some fighters realized that late in their careers, passed their prime, but by then it's too late. (Ex: RJJ fighting Hopkins comes to mind. Who cares at that point... I think Floyd is not too bright. He says he's all about the money, but won't fight pac for millions. He says he's not interested in legacy, but doesn't want to risk losing to anyone. He thinks his 0 loss means something. It doesn't, what matters is who he fought, and most importantly for Floyd, who he ducked. He's pretty much known as Chicken Floyd now, or many refer to him by, his last name spelled with G instead of a M. I think that's going to be his legacy. Great talent, who ducked fighters.

RA: "What about that fat danish guy, Brien Nielsen, he was 49-0, was he the best on the planet at that particular moment?" Floyd: "I don't even know who that is". RA: "Right, he was 49 and 0, better record than yours, who did he fight though?" Floyd: " ... "

Pac's resume puts Floyd's to shame. Floyd's big names are fighters passed their prime, smaller fighters, etc...
