His power seems to be overstated time and time again. And it seems like it all stems from the fact he knocked out Jermaine Taylor, of which wasnt the first time JT was knocked out nor the last. And conversely to the knockouts by Abraham and Pavlik, this KO seemed to be more about fatigue then anything.

Reference Kesslers face after his fight with Froch, marked up to the point of near disfigurement, you cant say Froch wasnt hitting him, he was. But if this so called power is so great, why wasnt KEssler hurt once in the fight? Infact if we look at Froch's last 3 outting, thats 3 times he's been either put on the canvas or stunned.

Many are saying that Froch can KO Abraham. And I dont see it. Once he is slow, and 2, he's not precise with his punches, which is what you need to be when fight Abrahams excellent high guard.

I'd put Froch's chances of KOing anyone in the supersix at a virtually 0%. His "power" is massively overrated.

I really don't like Carl Froch, but your hatred really is something to behold.

The Kessler fight isn't a good example, Kessler has one of the best chins of any active fighter, he took a beating from Ward and never once looked like he was in danger of being stopped.

Personally I think Froch has good accumulation power but not 1 punch KO power (similar to Margarito I guess). I don't think he will land often enough through AAs guard to stop him, but he could win a decision by being more active. However, I see AA catching him and sending him to sleep at some point during the fight

No it isn't. He easily the second hardest puncher in the Super Six, and i'd put my money on him KO'ing Green or maybe Kessler if they fought a remstch. No-one is saying he punches harder than Abraham, but he does hit hard.

Cant we go back to hating on Mayweather Jr, it's much more fun.

At least Froch will get in the ring with anyone anytime....

Why do you still post here?

You are a joke. You've probably never even seen Froch fight.

But he floored both Dirrell and Kessler (by my new definition of 'floored' which I have redefined to mean 'came close to landing a punch'...)

I can confirm this is untrue. MichiganWarrior has watched Froch v Dirrell at the last count 4, 324,527 times. He has also watched Dirrell v Abraham several hundred times, but has not watched any other boxing matches ever.

If Michigan had employment opportunities there wouldn't be so many posts about Carl Froch every day...

Wards not a puncher either. But there was a punch early in their fight that seemed to get Kesslers attention. I have yet to see Froch land a punch that has really rocked another fighter.

I think he's strong physically, but the pop on his punches isnt there. I really didnt even see it against Taylor.

I feel Froch can KO AA. AA was put down by Dirrell in his last fight, and Froch hits a lot harder than him thats for sure

Well if sending British domes into the ring post was a job, we'd be Dubai.

Lets get real though, Dirrell is faster, has more pop and the punch he caught AA with was with his forearm pinned on his chest pushing AA off balance.
