    Where did you hear this?

Would be nice if it's at 140. Berto is probably too fast for Maidana though.

Well if HBO is gonna pay him like 750K why not? He can just fight a couple of times a year & be set

    Scene

Berto does not go down to 140, Berto has 140 move up to welterweight.

He is certainly not making the most out of his opportunities... It definitely makes you appreciate guys like Williams and Martinez so much more...

Maidana is a crude fighter that is only efficient in a weight class that he could impose his size and power much like Urango was.

Urango/Berto how entertaining was that blockbuster?

    **** off Berto.

I heard he wants Kotelnik, Bradley and Alexander too. Geez, what's up with this guy.

Khan Vs Maidana, Dec 11th. Make it happen.

yes he sounds like khan doesnt he, bit of a contradiction on your half, when we criticise khan for saying he wants certain fighters and bradley does the same your all over berto.

    why is that?

if he does take this fight then khan will have no other option but to face ortiz.

Certain fighters? You mean JMM? He IS better than most 140 pounders out there and it's not even going to happen. JMM wants to defend against Katsidis. And fyi, I was never happy with the Marquez-Khan matchup and said I would be the first to criticise if he picked another lightweight after that.

Whereas Berto wants to fight 140 pounders. He's mentioned every name. Why not the 147 pound division?

Anyway I just read that Schaefer said Maidana probably doesn't want to move up so :happy. Stick to 147 Berto. Same with Khan, stick to 140.

It's obvious HBO wants him in there with an opponent that has been seen on HBO so they viewer will recognize the name. The only guy at 147 I can think of that isn't tied up is Clottey, but he's prolly blackballed after throwing his last fight. Therefore, Berto gets a nice payday against a 140 lber

    Alexander - 140pound
    Bradley - 140pound
    Tim Bradley - 140pound

Casamayor? Tell me where he 'called him out'.

Berto doesn't mention one 147 pounder?

If you're gonna criticise Khan on fighting guys like JMM, Kats (which he hasn't, as of yet), then you should do the same for Berto.

Who gives a **** if Maidana isn't featherfisted. He's a robot. Berto will outbox him. = no point in match.

Khan Vs Maidana tells us a lot of where either fighter will go.
