Grant has less fat on his massive build than most 30 year old NFL quarterbacks for cryin' out loud..... And a helluva lot less than any defensive lineman......

Again, I like seeing a smidge of fat on a heavyweight. It shows he's not weight-drained or starving prior to the fight.. Grant will be at full strength tonight...

I betting a small amount on Grant, its a BIG payoff if he wins.

 

Yeah, he looks good. I like that he's less jacked up than in his prime. Hopefully he full on ready, cuz i said elsewhere this is his ticket back to relevancy. If he's prepared and truly fit (mentally too) he has some key advantages

 

Adamek can always return if he loses... Time is on his side.... That ain't so with Grant anymore...... Grant must win tonight or his career will be back in the clubs fighting for rent and grocery money......

Adameks back is seriously muscled, he may be a smallish heavyweight, but the man is no doubt in top condition

 

Grant looks serious and massive in that pic....... Adamek has got to be a bit concerned here.....

Grant is very well conditioned also. I agree with your opinion that HW's should be more solidly built and not be concerned with a hypertrophied look.

While I certainly do not advocate fat HWs, these are very large men and considering they arent cutting weight, they should be in excellent shape and well built and conditioned looking.


That said, there is no excuse for Chris arreola

 

Arreola is merely the latest criminal at heavyweight training...... I went through all this **** with "Tubbs, Spoon, Douglas, Page & Ray Mercer" years ago....... Arreola just happens to be the new slob on the block who's pissing away his prime at the bar and buffet....... What else is new at heavyweight?

Folks don't forget that for Adamek this is just a stay-busy fight preparing him for Big heavies, maybe little risky because of opponent's size and conditions, but thats all. The only man who can gain something here is Grant.
I'm expectin' another tactical fight from Tomasz.

Anyone who thinks Grant is overweight is crazy. His lowest ever weight was 243! 5 pounds here or there isn't much on a man that size.
