...It better not be on a p4p list. Is it on a p4p list, Asero?

On an all time Heavyweight list,I do n't see the problem with this. I'd rank him a little bit above Frazier, and way way above Fitzimmons.

    Foreman over Fitzsimmons is ridiculous.

If they don't pick Harry Greb for G then all hell will stir.

Burt sugar rates Greb highly top (top 5 ATG), and he seems to have significant input here with Armstrong over Ali.

Then, simply, this list is as credible as a ...lot of Ring lists. Sadly.

They did have Armstrong over Ali. Based on the comments, not a lot of the readers liked it.

My guess is not a lot of the readers know their ass from a hole in Pacweather's ass.

He's probably got the nod becuase his early form knocking people out including devastating Frazier and because he had one of the most successful comebacks of all time winning the Heavyweight title at 44 (or whatever age it was, cant remember of top of my head)

Fitzimmons may be better than Foreman in a pound for pound sense, but purely as a heavyweight,Foreman has to be ranked ahead of Bob.

    I think they will!

They claim, that these alphabet picks are based on: "Accomplishments in the ring, with heavy emphasis on strength of opposition, as well as impact on the sport". But it would appear, that they are simply going by their "80 Best Fighters of the Last 80 Years" list (from 2002). At least they have so far.

    http://boxing.about.com/od/history/a/ring_80_best.htm

So according to this list Greb should be next - and after him Hagler.

But I wonder what they'll do, when they reach "J"! Their highest ranked man here is Jofre... so will they really pick him over Jack Johnson? Somehow I doubt that!

Why is that controversial? It's all about H2H and prime vs. prime for me. Foreman knocked Frazier out twice in less than 7 rounds. It would take less time vs. Fitzsimmons.
