So frustrating to read posters bangin' their heads against the wall without resolution.

Pick someone -- or someone step up -- to resolve who's made the best case. With the chance of bragging rights, more guys might join in.

Think it's gonna be tough to decide on someone, t. A guy's body of posts may make some feel he's partial.

I have won an award on here one year for most unbiased poster though JG! And people always tell me i'm impartial. But it's no big deal if someone else gets it or anyhing, there are people on here fit for the job definitely.

Yeah it is. So how does it work. If i got the job, would i be putting my own view on the fight, or acting as a third party and deciding who gave the best argument regarding a mythical match-up?

The jury responsible for giving you that award was biased, though.

When it comes to picks, I don't mind dissenting opinions. The key is they have to show reason and insight as to why think so and so would win.

Any smoking-gun posts that would disqualify you, S?

You'd read the various arguments presented 'n make a decision. The buck would stop with you.

True impartiality doesn't exist, and debate would be boring if it did.

Would you be willing to accept -- just like the legal system -- a judge to render verdicts in mythical matchups, IB? Someone would get to claim victory.

Guys might make more compelling arguments.
