To be honest...I think both realise this is their biggest bout and challenge, possibly of both their respective careers. I think Roach thought he needed more time to prepare for Mayweather the first time around...and now, maybe Mayweather believes he needs more time to prepare for the challenge of Pacquiao. Mayweather definitely let his hands go more in the Mosley bout...he followed his attacks up a lot more than he had done in his most recent bouts. He will need to against Pacquiao, because like you said...Pacquiao will keep coming and try to not stop throwing punches.
Look we saw JMM come up to fight Floyd, we just saw how decent at best bradley looked at 147. Manny is the fastest you will ever see at 147. so your talking about the fastest welterweight who happens to be a southpaw, has fought some of the best, and has not even been hurt by Cotto, ODL, Clottey and Hatton could not even see the guys jab. Just throw everything out the window and know you have the best of all time at 147.
is this indirectly acknowledging that PBF has a tendency of posing? He better keep throwing in a couple more punches or move, and not admire his own work or he's gonna get a fist in the face himself... I wouldnt depend on this "reset time" to admire your own work safely... This is my prediction in percentages... 35% KO by Pac 50% Decision by Pac 15% KO by PBF classically, a counter-puncher is favored over a brawler, but like what is feared, Pacquiao has that "Relentlessness" factor, and a pretty decent chin to back it up....
Against Mosley who is 39yrs old, and a natural superfeatherweight Marquez who is a 37yrs old. Damn Fast FLoyd is really schooling these senior citizens.
I have been a boxing junkie my whole life. My first memory on the planet is watching ABC boxing with my father before he used to make me do lines and spar with him. My grandfather used to punch out horses.
Honestly He is the best in any weight I have ever seen. A southpaw with that footwork and speed rarely has that kind of offense. He is just something special. To get this much worldwide attention at a time when boxing is not even a fraction as popular as it was when Ali was around and the fact that he doesn't say much just shows you how people today are captivated with him because of his skill and nothing else. He is the best of all time right now in my book.
This content is protected - This content is protected missed with his jab and didn't follow up with something else (combinations) - This content is protected threw a lazy jab, as usual, and didn't follow up with something else (combinations). Remember when This content is protected followed up his lazy jab with his right in the 2nd round? Even a semi-retired This content is protected has proven that if you have a good jab, Floyd would not counter as often or as well but that's not even my point here. This content is protected is NOT a risk taker. If someone, especially a good boxer, throws in combinations against Floyd then Floyd would use his defensive skills to get out of harms way and NOT counter. At most, Floyd may throw back some lazy shot to throw off his opponent but he would never counter with something seriously because he doesn't take risks! This content is protected : Manny needs to come in, throw combinations ONLY, then step out of harms way.
The same Mosley that Freddy said was too good for Nanny:hi: Pac likes DRAINED guys with a fresh KOs on their record.:deal
