Adamek vs Grant - Round by Round

Adamek really isn't that impressive. At his relatively tiny size he'd need MAD skills to be a great HW. He doesn't have them.......end of story.

 

Looks like Adamek might have got hurt right after the bell in the last round

Adamek definitely rocked there. His legs were all wobbly.

 

Round 5

Adamek doing more, chasing and throwing combinations. Grant counters him late in the round and Adamek was hurt from it, backs off and doesn't look good going back to his corner. Adamek cut too.

 

Adamek looks fine now

 

if that were vitali or wlads right hand that wouldve been the fight.

 

That counter right is there when Adamek lunges in to close distance.

 

Teddy Atlas mentioned last Friday that Grant can be a very good finisher. We got a glimpse of that there. When he smells blood, he pounces.

 

Adamek is one tough dude but the 40+ weight advantage and the reach of Grant could be trouble soon.

 

I didn't think he had the power at heavyweight. Even if he does knock Grant out. But if he doesn't, then there it is, he doesn't have it.

 

Adamek was not hurt at the end of that round.

 

If Grant threw more he'd win this. An opponent who can't punch, has a massive size disadvantage and a chin unlikely to stand up to much scrutiny at the weight.
