There seems to be a consensus now that Haye would beat Adamek

    Why?

Sure Goral struggled tonight, but he outgutted an enormous and hard punching heavy, which is something Haye has yet to do.

At heavy, Haye has beaten Bonin, Barret, Valuev and Ruiz. Which of these men punches as hard as Grant? Which punches as hard as Arreola for that matter?

I am not convinced that Haye, a man once stopped by a former super middleweight, would have taken Grant's punches. Nor am I convinced that he hits much harder.

    Adamek TKO Gaymaker

Stamina & work rate would win it for him imo

David Haye is like grease lightning comparatively to the likes of Steve Arreola and Michael Grant. He will land more often than not as a result of his superior mobility at Heayweight, and given how a shot Grant had Adamek on wobbly legs, I don't think it's far-fetched to think the Englishman could go one better. Truth be told, I'm underwhelmed by every aspect of Adamek's game at Heavyweight. I love the guy...but he isn't an elite Heavyweight. Not in my judgment, anyhow.

    WTF? Barret?

POST SCRIPT: Haye admitted that Barret put him on the floor.

Adamek/Haye is the most compelling heavyweight fight that could be made right now.

I tend to think David Haye would end proceedings early.

I think it would be a compelling competitive bout still.

But without question Adamek has ZERO chance against the Klits not even a puncher's chance.

I would like to see Adamek fight Haye. He will knock Haye out. I am not that interested in seeing Adamek fight Klitschkos, it would be mismatch.

Your racial agenda has been well documented, Farmboxer.

Nothing seen in Adamek's last few fights indicates that he'd be able to take Haye's best punch or that he'd knock Haye out with a single shot himself.

Thing is, I am pretty underwhelmed by Haye at heavy. Barret put him down (Haye admitted that). He really did not do much better than 47 year old Holyfield against Valeuv. Ruiz was a good win but Ruiz himself had not cleanly won an important fight in as long as anyone could remember. What is more he seems to be avoiding important challenges.

He has fast feet but i wouldn't say he has good footwork. After round 2 he was going straight back and getting walked down by a 38 yr old Ruiz's jab. Same with his punching, he doesn't throw in combinations after the first couple rounds and his power shots are mostly wide shots.

I think Adamek was simply overwhelmed by Grants size. Haye is a completly different story. Hard to say who wins assessing Adameks performance tonight cuz Grant and Haye are opposite dimensions.
