what if he finished with abraham? what if hopkins was not so reluctant to do his thing in the ring with a taylor he seemed to give too much respect to?
I hate when people read one comment making fun of what if situations and then everyone else runs with it like it was a stupid question. This coming from the same people who answer what if questions about mythical match ups. Unoriginal *******s. Froch would be looked at as dangerous but terrible bc he is and Taylor would still be seen as shot.
He would have won the fight/ But he didnt he got knocked the **** out fair and square and thats the whole point so well done carl froch
taylor looks drained in the ring, these guys are more powerful than him but he still has great talent
If Taylor would have won, there would have been no "Super Six." I made a thread about that a couple months ago, and nearly everyone who posted on it agreed with me. - - http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=248529
It means nothing. Taylor is one of the most flawed fighters in this generation given his amazing raw talents. Watch his fights, this man is the ANTI-textbook. I mean this guy didn't even know the MEANING of lateral movement. I'm just shocked he accomplished as much as he did. It was based almost exclusively on his raw talents. No savvy whatsoever. No ability to think in the ring and set anything up. It was just show up, throw some jabs, counter here and there and let his wild combinations go and whatever happened, happened. He did that with Hopkins. Got away with it because of his amazing raw talents. His blazing combinations bothered Hopkins. But the one thing you can't quesiton is his heart. He did have the proper mindset, he was just "dumb" or whatever you want to say. He just could not parlay his amazing raw talents into something special. It's just shocking to see a guy with all these physical gifts not even know the meaning of fundamental footwork in the ring.
I'm quite sure he would have got the decision in the States. Hell, Froch knocked Taylor out and I hear they tried to give him a draw over there! All Taylor has to do is finish on his feet to win at home!
