Adamek got rocked tonight

But you didn't expect more from Adamek tonight...fighting a man who's notoriously fragile, mentally and physically, and who hasn't been relevant in the division for a good six years?

 

In a prediction thread I voted Adamek by clear UD and my prediction was 117-111. I scored the fight 116-112 for Adamek. Was I wrong with my prediction? Adamek wasnt saying that he will knock out Grant, but that this is a tough fight for him and he is there to win. He did what I expected. Grant hurt him few times, but he was far from knocking down Adamek, not even mention knocking out. Grant was pushing Adamek's head down and hit him with the elbows (this is why he bleeded) and still Adamek was moving forward. He is a great warrior and I will be glad if he faces David Haye. Great fight that could go either way (Haye early KO, or Adamek decision/late TKO). However I favor Adamek to win, because of his toughness :smoke

Very great fight, Adamek was on the verge of getting Ko'd in the 12th.

Adamek vs. Haye would be a great fight but Adamek has zero chance against the Klits.

 

115-113? I gave Grant 2 rounds. I could see maybe giving him three, if you think Adamek was hurt in the 3rd (to me it looked like he was off balance). Other than that, I only gave Grant the 6th and 12th.

 

It looks like watching it live near the ring give you the better point to view. I watched it via internet and scored the fight 116-112. 117-111 was also acceptable but I didnt see Adamek winning 10 rounds so i didnt understand the score 118-110. However the judges were pretty consensus.

 

Listen, I was there & your full a ****. Grant won 2 rounds...maybe 2, more like only the last. How does a guy with a 10 inch reach disadvantage like Adamek completely out jab his montrous oppenent? Answer me that?

 

We were maybe 60ft away from the ring & I watch the entire fight through 8x Nikon binoculors & Adamek was never hurt. He took some big punches from Grant & never showed any sign of being in trouble. Even in the final round when Grant went for the kill, Adamek was moving out of the way of everything Grant threw.

118-110. I'm convinced that Bob Sheridan influenced some people a lot more than he should have. That guy makes Max Kellerman look like a genius.

 

In the polish TV it was the same. They were talking about the fight being very close. I saw the fight as a clear Adamek's victory and I am very demanding when my fighters fights. I scored it 116-112 and I have to rewatch it soon.
