Enzo fighting for a place in the Cruiserweight Super Six

Sauerland are starting a super six in December. The confirmed entrants so far are;

Marco Huck (WBO)
Steve Cunningham (IBF)
Krzysztof Wlodarcyk (WBC)
Dennis Lebedev (WBO mandatory)
Yoan Pablo Hernandez (fighting an IBF eliminator agaisnt BJ Flores in September)


Would make sense for the other spot to go to the Frenkel vs Macceranelli winner, and Frenkel is Sauerland promoted.

 

so he could end fighting in a super 6 tournament he isnt definetly as the thread implies

 

dunno why they are doing a 6 format again - its too slow and is liable to pullouts.

Just take 4 and have a knockout tourney - more exciting and quicker.

 

For the fans....for a promoter you get 3 Guarenteed dates.

 

hope for his sake he doesnt take a place in this tourny as he is so far out his depth he will drown i suppose he could make a few quid but wouldnt want to see him in with the likes of huck and cunningham enzos a likeable chap but has been heavily exposed by lesser fighters than those 2

 

This should be renamed the 'Shoddy 6'....no one super in that line up.

 

That wont take off. The talent at SMW is much greater.

 

Enzo is not worthy of a place, even if he does beat Frenkel.

this format CANNOT work with a promoter and not a tv company being the driving force behind it


what this will essentially amount to is a title cartel whereby the title holders fight each other for about 2 years and no contenders get a shot

 

I agree but if it was to happen I'd LOVE to see Enzo involved!

 

He'd be the new Jermain Taylor.

 

Diference being that Enzo wouldn't last until the 12th round before folding......
